"Ataraxia" is an original portrait painting from my 2021 solo exhibition, Euphoria. Using a combination of acrylic fluid art and traditional oil painting techniques, this piece expresses my portrayal of being in a state of serene calmness. It was created by first using acrylic paint to produce the facade of an effortlessly fluid background, then with oil paint to complete the figure. It is hand stretched on heavy duty pine stretcher bars by the artist herself, and finished with an archival UV resistant gloss varnish. It's vibrantly colorful, made with love and ready to adorn any room you wish!
